How long does it take for delivery?
The average delivery time varies based on volume and time of day. We usually quote between 35 minutes and 50 minutes for dinner deliveries with partner restaurants. We recommend that large orders be placed at least the day before and you can schedule deliveries days, weeks, or even months in advance.
What are my payment options?
We accept Visa, Master Card, AMEX, and Discover Credit Cards.
We do accept cash for corporate, and group orders from one of our partnered restaurants.
Can I order from multiple restaurants?
Yes, you can order from multiple restaurants, but we do require that you meet the minimum order requirements.
Can I order from a restaurant outside my delivery zone?
Delivery zones are limited to ensure that you receive quality food delivered in a timely manner. Catering or larger orders are placed in advance and may be available for restaurants outside the delivery area for an additional fee. Please call704-469-7182and a customer service representative will assist you.
How do I know that my online order has been placed?
You will receive a confirmation number as soon as your order is placed online. We are not liable for incorrect items on your order or incorrect delivery address. However we will do our best to ensure that you get the items you requested and that the address we deliver to is correct. :)
Can I cancel my order?
Orders can be canceled once they have been placed with the restaurant. However it needs to be done within 5 minutes of placing the order. If you need to cancel or make changes to an advanced order, call704-469-7182and a customer service representative will assist you.
I have a problem with my order, what should I do?
TakeHome is not responsible for errors made by the restaurant
1. Orders cannot be refunded. You Must Call Within 15 Minutes Of Delivery in order to ensure that the restaurant will replace the incorrect or improperly prepared items.
2.Future credits or replacements will not be provided after the day of delivery. If we are notified shortly after the delivery is completed, we will only be able to allow replacement or future credit based on the decision of the restaurant management alone.
3.TakeHome Delivery is a 3rd party delivery service for our partner restaurants in Charlotte and is not authorized to give future credit or replace items from a restaurant without approval from the Manager on Duty for that restaurant.
Is gratuity for the driver included in my order?
Gratuity is not included on any lunch or dinner order placed. Please remember they work hard to assure that your meal is delivered to you promptly and professionally. Providing the service to you, they rely on tips as their major source of income. Unlike restaurant wait staff, our drivers do not serve multiple tables. They dedicate themselves exclusively to your order. The entire delivery process for our drivers from start to finish can take up to one hour depending on traffic, weather, or how quickly the food is prepared by the restaurant.Drivers do not have paper receipts and gratuity cannot be added to your credit card at the door. If you would like to leave a gratuity on your card, please do so at the time of order or simply by calling us at 704-469-7182 and we'll be glad to add gratuity to your card.
A minimum 15% Gratuity is included for all orders with food totals greater than $70.
Is my coupon/gift card for a particular restaurant valid to use with TakeHome orders?
No. Only TakeHome coupons are valid with our delivery orders.
How do I add a special request?
When you choose an item you need to click edit or customize item then type in your special request.
